Informatics International Masters Scholarships are aimed at International Students( non- EU) who want to study a full-time eligible postgraduate Master’s course at the University of Edinburgh. Informatics has to do with the structure, algorithms, behavior, and interactions of natural and artificial systems that store, process, access and communicate information. It also develops its own conceptual and theoretical foundations and utilizes foundations developed in other fields.

The scholarships will be awarded to international (non-EU) students who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for an eligible postgraduate Master’s programme, i.e :
- MSc in Artificial Intelligence
- MSc in Cognitive Science
- MSc in Computer Science
- MSc in Informatics
Application Deadline: 1 April 2013 ( Annual)
Level of Study: Postgraduate (Masters)
Number of Scholarships: Ten(10)
Length of Scholarship: The award will be tenable for one academic year.
Scholarship Amount: £2000 each
- The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 honours degree
- In addition to the above academic qualifications, the selection panel will also take into account the financial circumstances of applicants to ensure that as far as possible a student’s financial situation does not impede a university education.

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.
The closing date for applications for these scholarships is 1 April 2013.
Please note that applicants will not be able to access the online application form unless they have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh and have full EASE authentication
A Selection Committee will meet in May 2013 to select the scholarship holders.
The winners of the scholarships will be announced in late May 2013.
